WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THAT THE LONDON JUDO INTERNATIONAL 2007 HAS BEEN CANCELLED
As you know the costs of the event have risen dramatically and we have had to work very hard to try and find sponsorship. The sponsorship which we had has fallen through and it will be impossible for us to run the tournament of this size to the high standard both we and you expect.
We are bitterly disappointed that we have to let you all down at this stage but think it is better to make the decision now rather than in a fortnight's time.
We are very proud of the Event and thank you all for helping us to make it a brilliant tournament.
We plan to work hard to find grant funding and sponsorships over the next year with every intention of staging an event in 2008, albeit in a slightly different format.
Anyone who has sent entry forms and cheques will be receiving their cheques back in the next few days. Anyone who needs written confirmation that the event was cancelled by the organisers can send us an EMAIL at the contact address Lonjudoint@aol.com .
